Each CSAGC Family will also have the opportunity to help their child/children earn a Zoo World Patch. We are starting with the first zoo program which is the Petkeeper-Zookeeper-Earthkeeper program geared towards ages 6-9. This program helps children understand why people keep animals, which animals make good pets, what resources animals need to live, and how zoos care for them. This program includes free admission to the Children's Zoo for all registered participants.
There are three parts to the patch: Pre-visit, Zoo-Visit, and Post-Visit. Each part may require up to an hour and a half to complete. The activities are self guided. CSAGC must purchase the guidebooks and patches ahead of time. Therefore, the Registration Deadline for the Zoo World Patch is June 22. *RSVP info below
