He recommended carne asada, bistek ranchero and carne con chile especial as his staff prepares them from scratch so he can vouch for the ingredients. Mr. Garcia was alert enough to realize that their corn tortillas and tortilla chips might be contaminated by wheat flour in the factory, so he recommended avoiding those. He requested more information so if other celiacs dine there in future he will know what he can safely offer. Well-established family-owned restaurant with a big menu, competitive prices, excellent service. They do not take reservations. The only foods I could not eat were the traditional bread (which is only on the buffet and not served to the table) and the tabouleh.

You can get a plain baked potato or a plain baked sweet potato and a salad minus croutons. We usually bring our own dressing.

He said they felt more comfortable if we brought our own salad dressing. The chef personally served her meal and came out during it to make sure she enjoyed it. It was a wonderful experience and really made my daughter feel good.

They have "special" wheat-free soy sauce Dave gave them to cook with you can ask to use it also, compliments of Dave. They also make sure the "rice" noodles don't contain any wheat flour. They have take-out but no delivery.
